Cavo Nightclub and Pearl Nightclub reviews

Our friends at Montreal-Clubs.com just published two more reviews: that of Cavo Nightclub and Pearl Nightclub.

The first thing that pops in my mind is, these two clubs have pretty weird (and shitty) names. Definitely not names I would have chosen for nightclubs. But then again, I am not in that industry, so what do I know about what a good club name is?

The second thing I wanted say is ... well, a long cell-phone conversation made me forget what I wanted to talk about.

I guess it wasn't that important after all.

Article on Montreal's Fashion Week

During a crazy-work Friday, in between builds, basic tests and code-changes, I managed to write my first article in a really really long time (2 months that is). I love these inspired Fridays, when you get tons of things done.

So yeah, my article was about Montreal's Fashion Week, an interesting event, about which I hadn't really though-of in the past. Apparently the fashion shows were a complete success. I think we need more events like this in Montreal, because the economic future of our city is obviously in the creative industries, be it all sorts of designs, to shows (think about Cirque du Soleil) and to creative engineering (web design, games, etc...).

French Pinups and mouth-watering cheese

What are your two favorite leisure activities? Women and cheese. Now combine the two and what do you get? An amazing marketing stunt, that even made it on the pages of the conservative and very British The Economist magazine.

Once again, the French have excelled in an art they already master: get us excited about their cheeses (and other assets amongst the way).

Here it is, the cover of the calendar, and a little video on it (British again)

Enjoy your Camembert.
